Who am I?
Ciao! My name is Filippo Buzzini – but you can call me Pippo – and I am a visual practitioner.
I created Sketchy Solutions in May 2017 because I believe in the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words.
What do I do?
I help people through visual thinking and visual communication. Simply put: I can draw the essence of your events, conferences, workshops, projects, message or ideas.
By combining images, symbols and text, I can give a creative output to your communication, making the topic easier to be remembered.
So, if you don’t trust yourself to pick up a pen, a pencil or a marker to ‘draw’ what you are thinking about, don’t worry, that’s where I come into play :-).
Let me sketch solutions for you!
Why the name ‘Sketchy Solution’?
Sketchy, when describing a picture, means “resembling a sketch; consisting of outline without much detail”(Oxford Dictionary) but also “someone who acts suspicious, unpredictable and odd in normal situations” (Urban Dictionary). While solution is “a means of solving a problem or dealing with a difficult situation” (Oxford Dictionary).
I combined these two words into ‘Sketchy Solutions’ because I do offer to clients visual means to solve a problem or a difficult situation (processing information easily). Those solutions are simple and clearly understandable drawings.
Sketchy Solutions are also unpredictable and ‘odd’ in normal situation because people are not used to think outside the box.
